Orange Thursday

Its official the weekend is a fast approaching and what a relief , been feeling sooo tired lately .

Today i'm wearing all black with a pop of colour orange and oh so comfy ankle strap heels , a very laid back look

Peplum Fun

Its mid week counting down to the weekend yay . Today i decided to rock my black peplum top that i was given by my ever so generous sister . I have paired it with grey jeggings . If you want to have a nice fitted jeans look go for jeggings they stretch , look like skinny jeans and are very comfortable.

I have finished the look with gold plate belt and gold peep toe heels .

Simple skinny jeans and blazer look

Today is one of those days I just wanted a simple look .

Pulled out Blue jeans black tank top and black with cream edge lining blazer and black pumps from my closet  .

Very easy yet stylish look paired with my most recent purchase a white Forever New handbag after my sister insisted I get new handbag kkk

 

High waisted flared jeans

High waisted skinny jeans  paired with a crop top are all the craze right now , but i still love the high waisted flared jean version . I have had this pair of jeans i'm rocking today for about 5 years now got from edgars . I love them so much and when i tried them the other day and saw that i could fit back into them after such a long time i was thrilled . I love the design and colour of the jean fabric . Im quite short so i love how these jeans make my legs appear longer of course i had to wear them with high heels

For work i have paired the high-waist flared jeans with an white tank top ,stripped blazer and some gold accessories chain neck-piece and skinny gold belt (i love gold) and tan platform heals

Love how kim rocked this look with a frilly blouse and hermes belt

High waisted bandage skirt

As you know from my profile i'm a new mom , i welcomed my 1st child last year on Jan 4th . During the course of my pregnancy i gained a whooping 26kgs . By the time i went into labour i was 90kgs . Through out 2013 i have been losing the weight gradually  (thanks to breastfeeding) . One year postpartum i can proudly say that i have lost all the baby fat . The weight loss has given me a new confidence and i have started picking up pieces that i consider a bit risky like this high waisted bandage skirt i totally love . These skirts have been the craze in 2013 . I consider them risky as they show all the contours of your body . As a curvy girl who had a baby a good pair of spanx is a MUST for this look . It gives you a smooth silhouette leaving you feeling confident and sexy .

Here is my take on the look .                    

I have gone for a monochromatic look for the office with a dash of gold - gold plate belt to cinch the waist and trendy gold metallic heels

office smart casual

My 1st love has always been the Fashion industry but currently i work in the Freight forwarding and Logistics Industry . At our firm dress code is not strictly formal as it is in most commercial industries like banking , insurance etc . I'm often in smart casual on most days but that doesn't mean i rock uo to work with sweat pants and flats . I always try and mix a bit of formal with a bit of casual .

My most favorite look is the jeans , heels , shirt/tanktop and blazer look. Its always a winner for me and way so comfortable .

Here im wearing royal blue blazer and white shirt both from Legit , rolled up jeans from Edgars and trendy cap toe pumps from shoe city .

 A simple yet comfortable smart casual look for the office .

 You can rock the look with out the blazer still looks great
